Professional artist, self-taught. Principal founder of The Inya
Gallery of Art, Yangon (1989).
Has exhibited since the 1960s; performances since 1995.
Has participated in over sixty local and international group exhibitions.

Aung
Myint was the first Burmese artist to win a prize from the ASEAN Art Awards, in 2002 with a set of nine paintings from his
